Warehouse, City Props and Garbage Galore!
Neelam Jani
This month, I got to wrap up the warehouse, create fun city props, and make a bunch of garbage. (No, literally, I made garbage. And I do mean that, litter-ally hahahahahahahah)
Okay, moving on!
For Warehouse stuff, I created some fun little props to fill the space, just to make it look more lived in! Got some shelves, wood boards, wood crates. I also got to make some little vents in Substance Designer, which was fun!
I also built a little slidey barn door for when you want to enter and exit the building!
Up next! After finishing such a large endeavour, I quickly tackled our small booth building!
Ain’t they cute? We’ll be dressing this little guy up for random shops, such as a little coffee shop, convenience stand, photo booth, etc! The world is our oyster.
Outside of buildings, I also was tasked to make a whole lot of city props, starting with….sewage grates!
These guys will start populating along sidewalks, roads, etc! It’ll help break up our road and sidewalk textures so they don’t constantly look the same!
In addition to filling our sidewalks with these guys, I whipped up a few quick planters!
They don’t look like much now, but once we have these bad boys populating along sidewalks, buildings, etc, they’ll look pretty snazzy with our flowers, bushes, evergreen and trees!
I also started working on all our garbage models!
I created an assortment of trash items, like crumpled paper, water bottles, cans, coffee cups, mattresses, and boxes! In addition to some mattress padding materials (that definitely will not look NEARLY as clean as the material shows, hehe). I’m hoping to wrap these up by the end of the month/early April, so keep on a look out!
